Episode 22 of The Rewired Podcast is now live.
This one is for everyone still waiting to feel ready.
You know what you want to do. You’ve thought about it more than you’ve thought about anything else. Researched it. Mapped it. Discussed it. Planned it in your head on the commute, in the shower, at 2am when your brain refuses to switch off.
And you still haven’t done it.
So let’s stop calling this what it isn’t.
You’re not stuck because you lack information. You’re stuck because starting would mean finding out whether you’re actually capable of it. As long as you don’t start, you never have to know.
The paralysis isn’t protecting you from failure. It’s protecting you from the answer.
I lived this for years. Convinced myself that thinking longer was the same as thinking better. Dressed caution up as diligence and called it a personality trait. Built a cage out of being thorough, considered, measured. The bars were invisible because I’d made them look like virtues.
The research phase has a purpose. It ends. When it doesn’t end, it’s no longer research. It’s hiding.
You’re calculating the wrong cost. You’re weighing up what happens if you get it wrong. You should be weighing up what happens if you never do it at all. Same job. Same Sunday feeling. Same conversation at the same table about what you’re going to do one day. Same version of yourself, just older, with less conviction that it’s still possible.
That’s not a neutral outcome. That’s the outcome you’re currently choosing.
7 minutes on why clarity is a reward, not a prerequisite, and why the person you’re waiting to become only exists on the other side of the first move. Click above to listen.

P.S. One decision. Today. Not the whole plan. Not certainty. Just one decision you’ve been putting off. That’s how identity shifts. One move at a time.
